About Avalanche
RPCP started its journey into Techfest and forayed with ‘Avalanche ‘07’, a first of its kind state level pharma event. It was a brainchild of the first batch of RPCP students. Some prominent personalities from the pharmaceutical industry like Prof. C. J. Shishoo - Director, B.V. Patel Pharmaceutical Education and Research Development (PERD) Centre, Mr. Bhavesh Patel - Managing Director, Marck Biosciences Ltd., and others made a notable contribution in success of Avalanche’07. Experts from pharmaceutical industry blessed and helped to make Avalanche a grand beginning to what was to follow. The second
TechFest - Avalanche ‘10 got an overwhelming response. It served as a quintessential example for the other colleges in the state and the country across the nation. Some of the prominent sponsors for Avalanche ’10 were pharmaceutical MNCs like Zydus Cadila, Torrent Pharma, Troikaa, Dishman and Claris Lifesciences. Along with vivid technical events, a splendid cultural night was also organized. Mr. Arjun Handa, CEO, Claris Lifesciences served as the chief guest at an Inauguration function while Dr. S.B. Roy, Head, PTC, Zydus Cadila addressed valedictory function. The first souvenir – Resurgence’ was published as an effort to make this event more memorable and happening.

Avalanche'12
The much awaited national level Pharma Carnival, ‘Avalanche’ is back in the beginning of 2012 with more innovations and value additions than earlier. Taking inspiration from the past, our team is working with zeal to match the high standards already set for us. Avalanche ’12 is set to create a massive impact on the fellow students, colleges and entire pharmaceutical industry. Various technical and non-technical events have been incorporated in Avalanche ’12 which will help the participants to get a much required edge and enjoy themselves to the fullest in a healthy competition. It promises to be a tremendous prospect and is all set to be a huge success considering the hard work, determination and collective efforts of Avalanche Team. We look forward to meet and interact with you at Avalanche’12.
